Skating on Quads!

We had a blast at the roller rink! But Jonathan and I were surprised how unsteady we felt.  We really thought we'd just pick it right back up.  It was nothing like it was when we were young.  Ah well.  And Max was not the natural he thought he'd be.  He was particularly hilarious.  He had crazy legs all night.  Little Lucy did surprisingly well.  Even with the challenges it was a really fun night and the kids loved it!

Snowboading Club

 

Max's elementary school offers a Ski/Snowboarding Club once a week at Alpine Valley.  This allows us to ski and snowboard for a slightly discounted rate.  This was Max and Jona's first visit.

I am so fortunate to have the friends that I met through the Beaumont Parenting Program.  Our kiddos met when they were three months old and we still get together whenever we can.  Our most recent get together was for gingerbread house making.  The kids and mamas all had a great time!!

Swim Lessons

 

 

 

Max and Lucy took a couple of private swim lessons over Christmas Break.  We've been out of swim class since the beginning of the summer so it was about time we got back in the pool on a regular basis.  Both kids did great and both are signed up for lessons once a week.

The kids' toys didn't want Buddy (our elf) to leave for the North Pole with Santa so they tied him up and held him hostage.
