School Parties

Longs

Lucy and her bud Stella visited Long's Cider Mill.  Tonya and her mom and I joined too:)

Happy Birthday Layla!

Lucy was invited to a birthday party for her friend Layla from Preschool. All of the kids enjoyed playing with Layla's toys and us moms enjoyed gabbing with one another.  One of the highlights was a balloon drop.  Layla's mom threw a fun party for all of us!

Lucy and Joanie

The Fun Run ended at the same time as Lucy's preschool.  Since the kids' schools are about fifteen minutes away from one another, my friend Jill picked Lucy up when she got her daughter Joanie.  Lucy was so excited to hang with her bud.  She thought it was so cool to ride in Joanie's truck and keeps talking about wanting to go to her house.  Needless to say, Lucy loved it!

Fun Run

The weather wasn't the greatest for Country Oaks annual Fun Run but it was still a party.  Several stations were set up in the bus lot and the students spent time at each station.  First and Second graders did their activities concurrently so Max and I both got to see lots of our buds.  I was glad I volunteered to be there.  It was good to be with my boy.

Last Game of Fall Ball

Max played number 19 for his last season of "T-ball".  We had a fun season and we'll miss our team.  Several of these kids have played together for three seasons.  It's considered T-ball because they follow T-ball rules, but the kids started hitting from coach pitch by the second game the first season they played.  This season the kids used the pitching machine. This seemed like a great opportunity but the machine was surprisingly inconsistent.  I spent the season missing coach pitch.  Next year the boys and girls go their separate ways to baseball and softball, respectively.  It's also a lottery next year so we'll see if any of the boys are reunited.  Regardless, Max played some good ball and we all had a good time.
